7 Great Food Spots in Milan that Deliver

How many days have we been on lockdown now? Too many to want to count, right!?! LOL. Even someone like me who absolutely adores cooking, has felt the need to order out. I can only imagine some of you who don’t love spending your time in front of the stove.

Either way, here is a list of a few restaurants that I love that deliver to get your takeout happy thoughts going.

Artico: This is one absurdly good gelato store in the Isola neighborhood of Milan. https://www.articogelateria.com

Berberè: Berberè produces scrumptious artisanal pizzas made from quality ingredients. These light, delightful pizzas begin with a living sourdough made from organic, semi-whole wheat flour. They have several locations around Milan. https://www.berberepizza.it/en/order-online/

Giolina: There Instagram stories with people opening up delivery boxes with their pizzas inside has my mouth literally watering. https://www.facebook.com/giolinamilano/

Latteneve: My hubby affectionately calls the owner of Latteneve il maestro, or “the master”. There’s a conviction and passion in his eyes that cemented Latteneve’s spot, in our minds, as one of the best ice cream shops in Milan. https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Ice-Cream-Shop/Gelateria-Latteneve-783293678378154/

Trattoria Masuelli: A bottega storico, meaning a historic shop, Trattoria Masuelli dates back to 1921. Almost 100 years later, the restaurant still serves up a winning mix of Milanese and Piedmont cuisine. They have created an updated delivery menu with delicious traditional items that transport and heat up well.  Website - https://www.masuellitrattoria.com - Link to their delivery menu.

Ziva: One of the things I miss the most about being in lockdown? Going on a leisurely stroll to the corner café to enjoy a kick butt delicious croissant or a melt in your mouth dessert. Fortunately, Ziva has us covered! https://www.facebook.com/zivapasticceria/

142 Restaurant: I haven’t yet tried 142 but considering that one of the members of the team is Sandra Ciciriello, who for years was maitre and sommelier at the Michelin star restaurant, Alice, I think it’s fair to say the food should be good. I’m especially excited about trying one of their “kits” that features all of the ingredients and much of the prep work necessary to make a gourmet “chef de cuisine” type meal. (Plus their kitchen looks immaculately clean which is even more important now than ever.) https://www.142.restaurant/142-a-casa-tua/

FYI: Most of these places are using either Deliveroo or Glovo to take care of their deliveries.
