Free Museums in Milan - Sunday March 4, 2018

One of the things I love about Italy is that here you’re surrounded by culture and history. It’s there slapping you in the face, “Hey I’ve been around for 1000 years, pay attention to me!”.

I think the Italian government does a pretty good job at making cultural events accessible to the general public. A key example is the monthly “Free Museum” initiative which began back in 2014. On the first Sunday of every month, a selection of public museums all over the country will be open free to the public.

Here are the ones that will be open and free this Sunday, March 4th in Milan. (For future reference this list more or less stays the same month to month).
